<p>Anyway, I&#8217;m in a bit of a bind. I don&#8217;t have any place to  host my images or files. I signed up for free hosting but it needs to be &#8220;approved&#8221; first. I have no idea how long that&#8217;s going to take.</p>
<p>I know I can use a site like tinypic to upload screenshots, but I don&#8217;t know of any file-hosting service I like. Well, if it&#8217;s Sunday and I still don&#8217;t have a web site, I&#8217;ll just have to figure something out.</p>
<p>Anyway, I look forward to this competition. I&#8217;m going to use Game Maker instead of C# and XNA as I did last time. I think I&#8217;ll keep it simple, I don&#8217;t want to engage in any any all-night programming fests. You see, I don&#8217;t even have a desk, so I have to hunch over my laptop which hurts my back. I&#8217;ll still make something fun though.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m glad to be back in the game-programming spirit. Everyone, do your best, and I can&#8217;t wait to see what everyone comes up with!</p>

If an XNA program crashes, it&#8217;s probably because you need to install the latest XNA and DirectX redistributable. These are not installed automatically. My game even crashed on an up-to-date install of Vista until I manually installed the latest DirectX.</p>
<p>I have updated my binary to include the DirectX and XNA redistributables.</p>
<p>BTW: To restart a level (if you mess up), stop the ball with the spacebar key, then click on the screen.</p>
