I’m in!
Almost forgot about it, but I’m in!
Think I’ll give Construct 2 a go
The Solitude of Sam Smith
Done!
Finally.
Good lord, I did not enjoy this as much as last time; found it really difficult to come up with an interesting concept until late last night. Still, I’m fairly happy with what I made; plus I love the name. Not that it really has anything to do with the game xP

Also, can we not have something pretentiously depressing like “Alone” & something clearly minecraft like “Randomly Generated” as the *only* high ranking themes next time guys?
For all we’re itching to make the next Braidcraft or IndieMiner9 – we’re falling into the same trap as the AAA guys as a community. For every grey/brown FPS there seems to be a ‘retro’ pixel, grey, depressing, mascot platformer game these days; I found the theme a little disappointing on that front this time around. Still, I’m looking forward to playing everyone’s games: there seems to be a lot of fantastic stuff as always!
Right!
So, I’m sat here alone (see what I did there) trying to come up with an idea which is not a generic “sad” game about “what it means to be alone” or bullying, or rejection, or some other half-attatched topic I have very little experience about from which to draw any meaningful narrative. xP
If anything, I like this theme because its damn hard to come up with something obnoxiously different! Woop
I might just spam it with kittens…
To everyone who started in the early hours of the morning; I hope it’s going well! To those like me who got some sleep and are just starting; good luck!
I’m in!
So, this shall be my second Ludum Dare. I’m currently in London and will be travelling back home tonight… giving me an hour or so to get ready, sleep, and crack on with whatever the theme is tomorrow morning!
Also: Kittens. Really? I’m sure I can get one in somewhere. Everyone likes Kittens…
I shall be using Stencyl this time around, GIMP for graphics and probably wont get around to audio again… but we’ll see.
So, have fun everyone! See you on the other side
Tip of the Tongue, revamped
So, there was quite a bit of call for a revamped version of my Ludum Dare 21 game, with added music and other aesthetic goodies (and a bit more balancing & grammar checking)
So, yeah, it’s up on Kongregate, remade in stencyl, if you fancy wasting 10 minutes.

Submitted!
So that’s my first Ludum Dare complete!
I’m happy with what I made, even if I ran out of time for sound & balancing. So it’s silent, and either ridonkulously easy or hard (I literally have no idea. I can breeze through, but then I’m just a tad biased.)
Anyway. I hope it’s fun, or at least interesting
Based on those times when words escape you, when they feel like they’re on the tip of your tongue.
(It’s also a Text-Adventure/Platformer hybrid
)
I had a great time doing this, it was really nice to have some focus for a project!
So yeah! Sleep now.

Good mornin’
Well, that’s my ‘good night’s sleep’ *yaaawwwn*
Time to ponder over breakfast; Escape, huh?
I’ll post up some pictures in a few hours, where hopefully I’ll have something. Good luck to everyone just starting, and well done to all those posting up some pretty cool stuff already!
I’m in!
Well, this’ll be my first Ludum Dare, or digital games making jam/hack/competition ever actually. Very much looking forward to it, making sure I’ve stocked up on pizza and beer enough stuff to cook a good few meals inbetween having a breakdown making my game!
Tools: Gamemaker (probably), Photoshop and Word, most likely, I’m a writer at heart so I’ll probably end up making something text-y. Probably. ^^
