It’s a bail!

So the theme Alone was way to hard for us. Instead we’re going to focus on creating our own game within 72 hours. Better luck next time!

Not looking good…

So we should be on our way right now working on the competition but we have yet to think of a good concept. The one we has can’t be realized within 72 hours and that the only idea we both had :(

Maybe we need to bail on this one :(

To big game concept :/

So I had a idea which quickly became to big to realize within the 72 Hours for the Jam. My artist is still sleeping and I have no idea what to do.

Luckily I saw the concept was to big before it’s to late :)

Pfew, no kittens! Now my artist has to wake up (5 am here :P)

Pfew, luckily no kittens, now I’ve got to wait for my artist to wake up and help with the concept. Good luck everyone!

We’re in! (for the Jam)

Hey everyone!

Last time we entered we had a massive fail at the last ten minutes which deleted all our levels but we are not going to let that stop us from entering again and doing it right this time!

We will be focusing on a game for Mac OSX for the Jam and eventually port it to iOS (iPad), Windows and potentially Linux (if SDL allows it)

The entire process of the development will be captured and uploaded as a 1080P time-lapse like a boss!

Good luck to everyone and may the best developer win!

Forklift Escape is getting close to a finish!

This is our first Ludum Jam project and we’re close to a finish. The level editor is working, There are just a couple of screens that need to be changed/created and the of-course lots of levels to make. We’ve got just under 12 hours to go and we’ll make it time easily!

Yeah! We have a editor

So our game is nearly finished, we just need some sounds and a bit more graphics for UI. Right now I am working on the editor which you can use as well once you’ve finished the game!

It’s all starting to come together

With just over a day left for the Jam our game is nearing completing. It will not only have the game but also a level editor to let you use your own imagination upon this game! The artist is currently busy with quite a lot of the graphics and I’m currently working on separating the level editor and the actual game.

Progress update

Tnt has been added (graphics not final but ripped from Minecraft XD)

We’ve still got 1 day and 15 hours left to make more levels, add more objects and create some sounds. I think it’ll work out :)

Totally new concept!

So my previous concept would take at least 7 days instead of the three days in the Jam so we decided to go for a totally different game!

Core engine is already done and now it’s just adding cool features and more graphics! Plus this will be extremely easy to port to the iPad and possibly the iPod Touch.

Artist isn’t ready yet :/

So I’ve started development on our game for the Jam but the artist isn’t quite ready yet. These are my awesome (NOT!) drawing skills

We’ll be focusing on Mac OSX for now but probably port it to the iPad to!

I’m in!

For the first time I’ll be entering the Ludum Jam! We’ll be making our game in Objective-C (Cocoa) with Cocos2D for Mac.

I am really exited to experience the Ludum Jam and write a game in just 72 hours!

Good luck to everyone who’s entering.
