Why is it that everytime we have a theme voting and everyone argues on the theme and all the other themes win out, a compleatly ramdo, 1 worded them pops up out of no-where?

I hope that title caught your eye. Well, its been a while since I’ve cleared the dust off my keyboard and got to making a post about how things are going… and their going quite well. School was so bad for me that I almost gave up scripting forever, I nearly forgot how to write to the console for JavaScript even! -BTW its console.log()-, ANYWAY, I’ve been getting bored with software engineering (Not that I haven’t given up! Bells is on its way people!) so after school thinned out for me, I went into engineering, you know, making robots and stuff. So I’ve been looking into the Arduino Chip and the infamous Raspberry PI computer chip, both effectively cheap and productive materials that I’ve been itching to use for extended software development to take myself into making robots, and maybe even entering the Google science fair just for a fair display, or running a website server with PHP (Which is ironically what i’m learning right now!) or just making stuff to annoy my friends in paintball (Who said a laser guided sentry WASN’T useful?). Also since I’ve came back, I’ll be back to Javascript, PHP, and even C++ as I’ll be working with Unity more often than so as a game engine that I may be stuck with for now on. (ITS FREEEEEEEEEE!!!). I’ll also be back in time for the next Ludum, and if god helps me along, maybe even to the meet-up. If I have anything cool to show you or some circuit tutorials to offer I’ll let you guys know in the next Update.

Hello people, the main plug of info on programming that I take (The reason I know all the programming languages I know) Codecademy, has released a new course on API’s teaching you all you need to know on API’s! Finally with an API I can get  more stable games, and do expect me to have Bells up quicker with that! Hello, Mohammad once again, here to once again explain why I wasn’t in the ludum dare, again. I really was blown that end of the world didn’t win, but also embarrassed because I also   chose “You are the villain!” as well. I already had the plot down. You as a Exno-Phobic human, now has to purge the world of foreign when furries introduce themselves into our war. It was going to be kinda hitman kinda gears of war.When the theme came out, I stopped staring and instantly opened up blender, and well… tried to install Unity. Remember about the posts I made a few days ago regarding my potential freedom…. Yeah, well… two things on that:

1: This was AFTER the ludum dare ended.

2: All the tools that I used that LAST ludum were on that computer, the computer I was using didn’t even have word installed on it.

So as you can see that was one 2 reasons I couldn’t get it done. Another reason was that the computer kept logging me out at 2:00 because of the basic windows vista parental controls. Finally the last reason I couldn’t get it done was because I couldn’t finish the models. I spent 2 WEEKS, working on a M22 Silenced pistol. I would have gotten more work done if it wasn’t for the damn parental controls. Then there was school. I had a F in Algebra and I had to do Khan academy or flunk math. I had no choice, so I gave up time on the ludum to work on that. Another downgrade. Then I was down with fever for 4 days. By the time everything cleared out, the ludum judging was halfway over, and I missed the ludum.

Hey, remember a few posts ago about me not doing any more ludums due to freaking parental controls? Well, just today I managed to find an old computer that its screen didn’t work, but had all my programs and no parental controls and old projects and stuff, hooked that up to the crappy desktop monitor for our 1GB desktop, and presto! Its working again! Now I can access all my programs and projects and work on them for as long as I want! I’m back in business people! Bells is back up, I’m back to LD’s (By the way i’m really sorry I couldn’t enter this ludum I’m really sorry its just that with all the parental controls and stuff I had no progress and couldn’t get anything done really sorry!) and i’m back to music! And with my 2 week December break from school, i’ll be getting stuff back up and ready for you little bois and gurls to enjoi! Anyway happy holidays because I’m surly enjoying mine!

Hello guys, Mohammad here again, back for another crazy ludum dare. This ludum dare I will be doing my game with JavaScript for two reasons, 1. I love ruby, but it turns out to suck shit at graphics and GUI, and 2. I can put it up on the web. But I want it to be in 3-D, and I also want an engine to go with it and compile my code into a simple .EXE, so i’ll be using Unity, along with some sorta modeling/Animation program to make the models and some art program to texture map it. The worlds ending anyway, so why not have a ludum before we all die off the face of the earth in a horrific and tragic events of natural disasters. So… um… no pressure… and make sure you have a modem and generator to keep your computer going in that bunker of yours… Haps ludum.

But with a lack of gamemaker, Blander, and Other programming skills, it seems like I’ll be doing a text-based adventure game made in ruby! Yeah, I know, Pretty dumb and basic, but c’mon, how bad can it be? Besides, with one 2 days left, and the knolage of ruby and javascript, I don’t have much of a choice, considering either languages have good code graphics wise. So, to save time, (And because ruby and javascript is not very good graphics wise) I will simple get started on the olden days of the text based video games about a man stuck in a room. Hello guys, it Mohammad again, and this time I came back to do the October challenge. Well…Sorta wanted to do it. Christ  I don’t think i’ll get it done being locked in a classroom for 6 hours from Monday to Friday. But, since I had a project I was doing I decided to put it out of its misery. YES! Bells© The video editing program. But that’s not all, I remember clearly how I said i’ll do it in GameMaker right? Well… That dropped a SH** HARD! So instead i’ll be pissing myself off with stress and please you guys by learning C++ Visual. Yes, you heard me, the same one they used to make Sony Vegas Pro© and Adobe After Effects©. I looked into them a few weeks ago, and I thought Sony Vegas Pro© isn’t too hard but ADOBE WILL BE A F*** CHALLENGE. So its good to be back, and its good to learn another scripting language, so all in all it’ll be a good month for me and you guys.

Hello, Mohammad Mohammad here to do more ranting. This time it may be of importance. I have been playing and rating games to the point where my coolness level came up to 60. But as I played more and more games, I have seen more and more unrunnable games anymore with files my windows cant run. Like for instance, .RAR, .WIN, .JAR (some wont open, some will), .LOVE, and many more. Even one game ran on a new unreleased version of Flash. And the worst part is that these people will not convert the files to a .EXE. A few like .XNA I can understand, And will not argue with those. But others like .LOVE, Are convertible, but refuse to do so. I have gotten annoyed by this, Because neither I, Nor others can play and rate game fairly. So,  Please take a test to see if your game is runnable, because I refuse to have to download a dumb download manager.  >:(

Ok, Maybe you’ve seen me do stupid posts about my game and Bells©, where alot of you either nicely, Or like a very angry man, told me to f*** it off with these posts. Well, ill get into that later. For now it’s onto my game! *NOTE: Please, Before you make a comment about recent arguments, Let me just say i’m sorry for any recent action taken onto you. But if you don’t like my posts all together, And want me to leave, Then please, Nor I or anyone else likes this kind of feedback.* Anyway, With that out of the way, Lets get started! My game, Known as Evolution of Monsters…Surprisingly was made after my ranting was taken out on a sound editing program. Let me get down to how it started, My father, As you know, Wanted to go out…And the theme was 6 minutes away from being announced, So we got into a HUGE argument, Where I kept on begging him not to take me out. In the end, My oldest sister decided to stay, And that got my face stuck to the screen. When the theme was finally announced, My heart freaking SANK DOWN TO MY TOES. I had worked on my piano for a HOUR before it started, because I would need it later on. I expected Abandoned, But sadly…THAT MADE IT SECOND IT LAST! Then for the next 3 hours I kept making posts and ranting about the worst idea ever thought by the Community, EVOLUTION!!!

Then I loaded my music editor and screwed with it. I made a cool sound with it and immediately got my idea: A Horror! Then I loaded blender and got to work! (After a few basic tutorials…) and I successfully made my first model. Then my Second (Much more scarier!)

and then my Third. (The one in the game.) But as time passed, I quickly realized that the compo was too far for me. My chest heaved.

I was going to do more ranting, then I realized I had the Jam. I really want to do the compo and show I wasn’t a wimp…But time went out to Lunch! So I had no choice, The Jam it was. But I had already made models and sound, and I didn’t want to scrap the idea to a 2-D game, So I downloaded an engine on the GameMaker website. I knew how desperate I was, So I went with it. Edited it, Made a couple sprites, And loaded it. All that was left was levels… But I only had 2 Hours left…So…I…Published it how it was. 3 Levels, A bunch of glitches, (And Puzzlem00n put a link to the outdated version). So I fixed it up, And put it up for those who care. My dad, however,Was not a big fan of my work, And we got into a “Deep” conversation, In which he asked the fellow Ludum Community to deal with this problem. And…It got out of hand…With poV making a “Unexpected” appearance…And…I’m gonna let the story talk for itself. BUT I DONT WANT COMMENTS ABOUT THIS CHAT. ITS OVER WITH AND ALL COMMENTS ON IT WILL BE REMOVED. I DO NOT want to get into another argument. Anyway most of the comments said my game was “Hard” but fun! If you ask me, This was my first ludum, And thats what I want to hear  .
