Showcases the enemies so far in the three levels. I strayed from my original vision quite a bit. A bit too general of a platformer still.

Will try to implement what i had in mind tomorrow and edit the maps to fit the idea..

Added some intro screen, ending, exploding player,  pew-sounds. Previous post is now invalid since i uplodaded the game on top of the old version.

But I leave it like this for now. And submit it to jam instead of the main competition, becouse I used a bit of copy paste with delayed text code from previous project, cause I wasn’t going to bother to rewrite it. I would have the time to do so but nah. Also the code is a SHAMEFUR DISPRAY in some cases, better to be left for only those who are interested enough with their flash decoders.

Very short game, I might continue this some later, adding more polish to graphics, sounds, more game mechanics, then more levels and story…

But for now, it shall stand against your judging eyes, proudly.  I’m somewhat proud I managed to get it to where it is with over 12 hours of remaining time. But I dont have the stamina and willpower to continue any further for today;) Fun weekend.

Unimaginatively zelda-like, I’m going to have to come up with enemies and more puzzle mechanics and then more levels.. And better art if i have the time.

controls: arrows, z for switching through inventory, x for using item. Only one item can be found :P

I hope to win the fight against the clock this time with the aid of flashpunk library, musagi if i have the time for music, and the accumulated experience gained from past contests.

I hope everyone keeps to fair play and shows good sportsmanship. I look forward to seeing everyone’s finished games being almost as good as the masterpiece i’ll muster together.

So far the top themes of finished rounds have been most tolerable, even satisfying, enjoyable. Cheers for that.

Just heard of this contest an hour or two ago so i decided to hop on the band wagon.

Will probably be using c#, XNA and perhaps box2d xna -port. Unless the theme suits better for a web game and i get inspired and perhaps do a html5 + javascript thingie then. My biggest goal is to create something that doesn’t reek of sewers in that 48 hour span.
