My First Big LD

Hallo LDers!
This is my first BigLD, I’ve taken part in a couple of miniLDs over the last few months, which has been fun. This is slightly more intimidating as it looks like more than 14 people take part in these ones 
I’ll be using FlashDevelop & Flixel for the coding,
Photoshop CS4 and a wacom pad for the graphics,
Music and sound effects are going to be recorded and messed around with in Audacity, with any actual music created on either TonePad Pro on the iPhone, or possibly my voice and some instruments out here in meatspace. It mainly depends on what style of game is to be created.

It is here. It’s not overwhelmingly messed up, it’s just a bit muddled and pants. If you sit through the entire soundtrack you deserve an award

So far I have a slightly odd, and ugly, football game. Tomorrow I shall put in the other team members, and that is where it shall get truly awful. I spent most of today recording a woeful song on a 4 track in my basement on instruments I haven’t touched in over a year, that’s pretty bad too.
So far this has been quite fun. It’s nice not stressing about it being any good

Rather that staying up and finishing this, I’m going to go to bed and finish this in my last few hours in the morning. Assuming I wake up.
There is no truer love that that of a monkey for bananas, true story! Score, stats and a background to go.

Also, first time trying to make an original game.
Also I’ve just had a massive crisis of confidence in the idea I had, and now no longer think that it’s appropriate or any good. I can’t think of any better ideas though, so I shall plow ahead regardless.
Also I’m starting late, though I will keep to 48 hours.

Partner (in crime, not in bed) is a bit ill, so she’ll be involved if she feels any better by tomorrow. Otherwise I’m going to be making some odd noises into a microphone.
