Haw!

Well, I didn’t make it!

I tried to implement this behavior-based event handling thingamajigger… And well… Kept running into stupid problems like “Hi I’m an event but I don’t know what my object is” or “Hi, I’m an object, but I have no idea what I’m actually doing!”

So I started stuffing a lot of redundant stuff into my classes until the code became unmaintainable… Then the collision detection died on me and all the cars and pennies went flying all over the place for no particular reason… Then an owl grew out of my neck and tried to eat my HOUSE! True story.

Anyway… I’ll be finishing it on my own time this week and over the weekend. Keep your eyes peeled!

Tower pennies

Don’t throw pennies off the Empire State Building, or any simpler, smaller, easier to draw and program TOWER, for that matter. You could cause a car accident, or, god forbid, even kill someone!

My name is kiwibonga. I’m a 23 year old Computer Science drop-out! I’m a translator now. It’s an amazing job, I get to read instruction manuals for toilet bowl scrubbers before the general public gets their hands on them!

This is my first LD! I’m very excited!

I’ll be coding in C++… And I haven’t decided on a library yet… I’ll be exploring my options before the theme is announced. Sound will be a mix of raw midi commands and me breathing into a microphone. Probably.

All right LET’S GET PUMPED UP WOOOOO!!!
