Well I just submitted my game for Ludum Dare 23. It is called “Sirus the Virus”, and is a platformer in which you control a germ, trying to make your way to the human’s brain. Hey everyone,

I am taking a quick minute to write a small update post. First, my game is titled “Sirus the Virus”. You control a germ/virus who can self-replicate upon contact with Red Blood Cells. You platform your way through the X levels that I will make today, infecting as many cells as possible, on your way to possibly fight a final boss (if time allows). I have most of the graphics done and the menus. The Tween Sock library really let me breeze through polishing my Title screen. I am using FlashPunk as previously noted, and Noel Berry’s Advance Platforming Engine (APE) with a few few, small, custom tweaks of my own that fit my coding taste. I’m in, for my first Ludum Dare. I can guarantee you I will end up making a platformer, as they are what come easiest to me, and my goal is to finish, considering this is my first 48-hour game jam.
