Are there any file hoarders about? I’m looking for the download of the timelapse video I had available in this post (I foolishly removed it from my webspace some 6 months ago thinking I wouldn’t need it)

Now PoV is building this new database of timelapses, I’d love to be able to hand a nice high-rez version of it over

I’m in this time round – Hopefully I’ll not lose my mojo halfway through and quit like last time, but that theme just didn’t motivate me at all…

Bandwagon!
Here’s the three entries I made from the past :

LD15 pic – Cavern Chase – my first ever entry into LD. Came out quite well for a first entry.
LD16 pic – Explore Quest – This was a dream to make. there’s a Timelapse too.
LD17 pic – Mad Hatter Island – This was a nuts idea for an entry in the last hours of LD#17. Made in 2 hours start to finish.

LD18 – Who knows? Let’s hope it’s something good

For a 2 hour game it’s a pretty good effort, could desperately use some in-level checkpoints.

That’s a good suggestion, but I think I prefer it to remain challenging

Yep, I didn’t have much time to sanity check it before I decided to submit – I cut it really bloody close!

My biggest complaint is that multiple hats do not stack like a tower.
Also, distance jumping off the edge of a platform is hard sometimes.

Hahaha! That’s an ace idea.. But I fear it would have gotten unwieldy(or slow ) so I decided to allow you to wear the hat after you got them all, so you knew when the exit was open if you couldn’t see the exit itself.

EDIT :: I found a way and I managed to submit it before the lines closed

Mages can be evil too Just because it has a skull+crossbones cover, doesn’t mean it isn’t a manual for Windows

I thought the skeleton was a villager at first, so I just kept bumping into him. HE MURDERED ME.

Nice use of the theme.

You are indeed surprisingly weak at the beginning of the game. I was hoping to have a whole level-up system but I decided it would have taken too long.

I really liked it, except that you have to go past all these guys who are lethal. After reading the walkthrough, I thought I’d give it another shot and when I got to the mountain I got one-shotted by a guy standing in the middle of the passage. I couldn’t have avoided him! I want to see more of the game, but it’s just too vicious.

I really like the graphics.

Would appreciate auto-repeat on the keys!

Thanks! It took me quite a while to get the graphics the way I wanted but at the time it was very much early days You should play left handed, your sword is longer :fnarr: it doesn’t affect gameplay though.

It’s possible to get to the top of the mountain without being hit – dodge moar
Auto-repeat was planned but I guess I never got round to it.
A couple of cheats if you want to see more …
Pressing F7 will remove all the fog.
Pressing F8 will give you 40 HP, The Sword, the Lantern, the Book, and enough Skill to kill just about anything before the Dragons.
There comes a great price for such cheatery though…

You’re very near the end! I’d read the walkthrough, it has hints on how to deal with those pesky dragons

This little mince pie is the reward I get when I finish my game. I’m not far off now

just over 2 hours left – I just hope I don’t balls it up ;^^

Man, there’s a whole lotta roguelikes I’m gonna have some fun come voting time…

Things left to do :

Make combat and “leveling” work
Put in the rest of the enemies (not just sparkling vampires and TROGDOR)
Add the treasure and the church (spend money at the church to restore HP and buy potions)
The rest of the areas, dungeons etc etc…

When you’re balls deep in Trogdors, you know you’re pretty much f****d.

Because I want to be working all day, my food pics will be posted at the end of the day.

Although i’ve been a bit bad and had my lunch and I forgot to take a picture of it.

Although here we go…
For breakfast I had toast. I was barely awake and couldn’t see very well, so no picture.

For Lunch, I had a teapot of Earl Grey and meatballs

For my tea, I’m having my special recipe spicy noodles with added hot sauce and a nice mug of Earl Grey to go with.
