    It’s 3am and I have work in the morning :(

    SFX and music done. All the graphics done (see some below).

    Hope everyone enjoys playing it :)

     

    Watch Out for the Army Planes – they’ll get ya!

    The Jeep’s are on patrol and pack a punch with their rockets!

    Ape-tastic! Close, still need to add music/sfx and a bi-plane. It’s late, and work in the morning, so music and sfx may take a hit :(

    I got sick of my original idea – just didn’t feel fun..

    So you are an ape and get to smash up a tiny world, that’s what I’m talking about!

    Well things are going so-so. Finally added some graphics, but I have a long way to go

    The concept is that you, working as a kitchen hand in a science lab have been shrunken down when playing with equipment you shouldn’t have been. The cleaners have come along and thrown you in the rubbish (not seeing you!). No you have to escape this tiny world and restore your self to your original height.

    Going far slower than I had hoped for, haven’t really even tackled graphics yet, hmmm.

    So how about a battle station shot + a cute kitten “helping” me work

    I have to be at work in 6 hours and I haven’t slept yet (In Australia it’s 2am).

    Progress is getting there:

    • Cat logic/physics settled
    • Death sequences setup
    • Scoring done
    • Title/Level Complete/End screen done
    • 3 levels made

    To do

    • I will need to settle for probably only 5 levels total :(
    • Music
    • Add a reset button
    • Submit :)

    Going ok, only 15 hours left..

    Slopes are working (what a pain in the butt!!). As always FlashPunk is making a difficult task easy – thanks ChevyRay!.

    Updated the placeholder graphics for the tiles. Now to start tieing everything in together plus level/puzzel design.

    Ok, it’s midnight here – things are going ok.

    Basic story is little old lady is alone, and all she has is her cats – but the pound has stolen them from her!! Move her around with arrow keys, and space to release the cats.

    Place holder graphics. Only 1 level done.

    Pushing up hill, going to be a struggle.

    Got a mini music loop going in Aviary music creator which will have to do. Sketched up the map, so need to create another 6 sections like that below and a title/closer.

    Spent way too much time getting the point of view arc from the ghosts working, and atm they kind of chase you when they see you, but needs major tweaking. I hate localToGlobal and globalToLocal btw.

    Just a quick update. This is my first LD, and enjoying it so far.

    Taking a quick break to go grab a pizza and post a screenshot + setup

     

    early setup, getting a ‘pulse’ of sound shooting out, to hinder the escape of the user

    and the enemy’s field of vision using the arc technique
