<p>This was my first LD competition.  I got started yesterday at noon (company party the night before, you know how that goes).    I look forward to seeing what other folks have!  </p>

<p>One bummer &#8211; <em>this is better with a USB 360 style controller</em>, but it does work w/ keyboard.  I fixed keyboard control after the bell.</p>

<p>This was last night&#8217;s cap that never got posted &#8211; I couldn&#8217;t figure how how to use FireFox, so I went to bed.    Anyway,  StickyBall/KatamariBall/Going Down the Road&#8230; mashup  is working out.  Rather than post this at 1AM, I tried puttting a sky dome in.  It just didn&#8217;t work, so I wasted a good hour there &#8211; especially in the creative zen hour of 2AM.  Somewhere at midnight the psychedelic-ness came to life.</p>
<p>Now that it&#8217;s the next morning and I can survey the damage.  The good news is that I have a ball rolling, and a couple vehicles.  The bad news is that Maya just won&#8217;t let you paint a texture.  Rather than guess projection paint or find some 3d paint tool, I&#8217;m going low tech spatter paint.</p>
<p>Today &#8211; Step 1 will be to get stuff attached and becomging sticky.   If the ball isn&#8217;t sticky, the game is isnt&#8217; much of anything than a ball rolling downa a road.  Step 2 is to instance a ton of crap to roll up.</p>
