Polluted Caverns
OK, the game detects when a row is selected and close enough to be removed.
Yet, it’s a damn bunch of bugs. I guess my setup is to complex, and 3D physics is not really suitable for this
Anyway, here’s an updated binary :
Polluted Caverns
Hop.
Nicely coming along. Made the selection system, and the game is detecting that the proper number of items where selected.
It still need to be able to check when the items are stuck together, or not.

Here’s a binary, working but you can’t do anything except selecting the items

The mouse is working, more or less. It should be able to raycast the items properly.
The basic scripts of the items is working too.
Need to add the selection mode, and write the removal check code

the assets & layout seems ok, now comes the tricky part: coding the game itself !
He is the Basic setup. The scene, the assets, and a spotlight.
Collision shapes roughly setup.

Seems good so far, unfortunately, tomorrow I’m outside, hence I should finish the most of the work today. We’ll see :’)

It’s not *that* original, but hey. Lot’s of code to make it work properly. Gotta hurry
I have nice ideas for the visuals, but that’s the second part of it, gameplay first ! Gosh !
Things to simplify and deliver a working project within schedule :
- only convex shapes, even round ones, no chairs, for example…
- make the shape of the cavern simpler, more easier to predict how the physics will behave
Caverns+Pollution
Hello LudumDare. First time I’m in. ‘might now have the full 48h available, but trying anyway.
Been outside to walk the dog, have a coffee & find ideas.

… and idea was found.
Nowadays Caverns are completely poluted. It will be down to the player to clean them. Should use puzzle logic & a bit of gravity as well. We’ll see.
