Waiting for the magic to begin . . . .
Two hours past, no ideas, and no still inspiration from Tigger. Time for a bike ride to the corner store for some mind fuel.
YAFT . . . adding to the beginner’s luck pool. I hope there is enough to go around. 8~)
At the moment, I am looking to use YAKE and its various tools for most everything. Although, I have considered at least five other SDKs this week (including ClanLib, Irrlicht, and OGE). I wanted a SDK with a nice application framework and abstraction/extension layers for 3D, physics, and audio. YAKE provides all this and then some (Lua). The libraries I will be plugging into YAKE are OGRE, OpenAL, and ODE (and possibly a few Lua scripts). Photoshop and Blender will help out in the graphics department.
