Anyway, this was pretty cool, and altough I could’nt get this project done (Which means I wont still owrk on it!) I may try harder with a stronger mind, and a faster typing hand. :D Anyway, happy

<html> <p style=”color:orange”>Hello Puzzlem00n, I know you month has been upside down</p> <p style=”color:green”>But keeping yourelf with a bad attitude will give you nothing but a frown!</p> <p style=”font-size=50″> But with a big bright attitude, you will always win!</p> <p style=”font-size=9″> Look at me, I accomplished nothing, but I learned 2 new languages, Not located from a bin!</p> <p style=”text-align:right;”> So do me a favor, If you can still read this.</p> <p style=”text-align:left;”> ctrl+C Go make a new post, and go to HTML (One of the 2 languages I learned, the other being Javascript) And control V it down, So this message won’t be missed.</p> <p style=”text-align:center;”> Now hit back to visual, and read with joy, this ludum dare, was big for both of us, OH BOY!</p> <p> Have a great ludum dare for you Puzzlem00n, do not be depressed, you’ve accomplished somthing, and so have I.</p> <img src=”http://sofinesjoyfulmoments.com/animated/partytime/!confty1.gif”/> </body> </html>

Copy and paste this into the HTML compliler next to Visual, then hit back to visual or preview, and enjoy!

Oh and W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G is abbreviated for What You See Is What You Get, if your wondering.
Its for people who use a premade website template like wordpress or google sites or somthing like that because they don’t know how to code in HTML. Nope, no more wordpress or googlesites for me. Now I can have a website for free AND make it anyway I want!

You know, making your webpages by yourself is great and all, but there is a reason for WordPress:

Imagine you want to make a blog.
You’ll need to learn PHP to do that. JavaScript wouldn’t be bad either.
Then you’ll need to look up on MySQL/Oracle or whatever database may please you.
After that comes the security stuff (Login form for the admin, perhaps a commenting system [and spam-prevention.], and if you’re serious about it maybe even a simple CMS [Content Management System])

And while some people (Take me as example) are certainly able to do it, and have done it before (I have some basic blogging system running on one of my pages), sometimes you just don’t want all that trouble.

And here WordPress comes in. It takes away all the programming, and this page is a perfect example of how customizable it is. :)
      ____________

tl;dr – Making your own webpages is great, but WordPress does have a reason for it’s existence.

    Congrats on your professinalism.

I don’t think that code will work until you take off the purple color… I think that’s it.

  5. FelipeTavares says:

Try CSS now! You can do amazing things (CSS3 is VERY interessant too!).

And after ,try TeX, is another really really good tool, specially if you like to write beutiful articles.

    Tables.
    How sexy is THAT?

If you’re more interested in making games, you should continue learning javascript, and the power of the tag. The canvas tag is like an image tag in html, but on wich you can draw with javascript. You would then be able to make what they call “html5 games”

You make me feel back in the 90′s.

Reminds me of my start with computers xD

    • mohammad says:

      What? Choppy, bloppy, and crappy?
Well, then again it took me only a day to master all that.
It may have taken you 2 WEEKS to master that.
I also know Javascript too, which was quite hard also, and took much more time.

      • FelipeTavares says:

When I was learning html(on the start of the past year (I was 13)), I learned HTML,CSS and CSS3 in just two days. Javscript took me more time.

        • mohammad says:

I know! Javascript seems to be my greatest challange, and a MUCH more powerful scripting language than Html, Xml (More of a data prosesser to me), And CSS. With Javascript thats where your website comes to life. Thats why i’m learning it. But its very hard, and i’m still learning how to get one thing out of another.
