The thought of trying to monetize, even to a tiny degree seems like an awesome goal. I’ve spent the time since the August LD mostly working on my art skills, so I’ve improved enough with pixel art that my games might not make you vomit on sight anymore.
However, since I’ve been working almost exclusively on improving in the art department, I really don’t have any ongoing projects. I’ve been wanting to give Unity a shot, since I’m only fluent in C#, and I don’t really like a few things in XNA. Since I’m thinking of trying totally new tools, and I don’t have anything in the works, it’s unlikely that I’ll even have a prototype for anything within a month. I’m definitely going to start moving down that path, and we’ll see what happens, October or not.
