The game is progressing, so I thought I will drop two words about the tools that I’m using to make it.
The number one tool is of course Python and the PyGame library — it’s a little oldschool, but works nicely.
The graphics are all done by hand in MyPaint, and then wrangled into a format suitable for the sprites using GIMP. All animations are also done in GIMP, where applicable.
For coding I use Vim, and Mercurial for source control (seriously, if you are not using source control, you are missing out).
