TONE – Work in progress shots..

So far I’m about 9 hours into development (I was planning on starting last night, then I managed to slice my hand open whilst cooking), playing around with some effects and generally getting an idea for what it is that I want to make.

Here is a build and some shots of it in action if you’d like to give it a go!

This game is neat, already! I really dig the TrailRenderer on the mouse cursor. I wish it functioned as a sort of temporary barrier against the incoming shapes though: it feels good to just “draw” with it.

At first I didn’t realize you could do that, and I was trying to click on the squares, which was tedious and un-fun. You should mention in the intro that you can/should click-and-drag; the game is way more satisfying that way. :)

Love the music, but it eventually ends and doesn’t start up again. i was going to suggest giving the shapes a tone when you pop them, but after the music stopped, I realized they do have one, it’s just very, very quiet.

I wish when I popped the purple shapes, that the gray shapes they left behind burst out from that point instead of just sitting there.

I look forward to seeing this one tomorrow when it’s done!

I agree, clicking and dragging is the best way. The game is pretty fun! I also think the music is incredible!
