My first idea was a Box-2D based physics game with multiple evolving creatures running after each other and trying to eat one another, where two players. It was all fun and games and flailing limbs for a while, before I realized this was never going to happen in 48 hours.

So I’m killing that idea. Instead I’m thinking little pacmen running around trying to collect dots – except there are two different species, and two players face off while advocating for one color over the other by making small changes to the environment or the genome.
