I’m in! with ripping 3D models out of legacy games to make new ones in Unity3D and Blender

    Hi All,

My name is Sohaib Akhter and this summer I was working on an Android and iOS game called Arena legends: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD-E_FPwl6c&feature=g-upl ; In the process of making the game, I learned how to rip 3D models out of old games and rig it in blender to make characters for newer games. Depending on the game, this could be and easy or harder thing to do, but it really saves on the development time it takes to conceptualize and make characters and other models for a game. Thanks, and hope to see you all at the jam!

    Sincerely,

    Sohaib Akhter

Sounds like a fine idea, as long as you enter it in the 72hr jam. But you probably already knew that.
