After my last Ludum Dare experience I found that my game wasn’t as good as I was hoping it would be and I began to think of what I was missing. I had a bit of polish and the program was efficient, though, there wasn’t really anything amazing about it. After thinking on my entry for a little while I realized that my program needed a hook, it needed even more polish, it needed to be more than just the some of its parts. So I decided that for this Ludum Dare I am going to take my game in a different direction. Rather than focusing solely on the game-play and playing it safe, I’ve decided to focus more on having unique and intuitive features pasted together in a way that works. So here’s to taking a risk.
- Nothing more than Java’s built in Graphics2D library
Audio and Sound Effects
- FL Studio 10
- Phothop CS6
- Camtasia Studio 7
Good luck to anyone else entering this time ’round, and for the first timers don’t worry about it. Everyone, including me, likely had that first noobish, nerve racking Ludum Dare entry. Though some may not want to admit it.
