I’m in, but I have no idea what I’m doing

I’ve never written a game before. but I’m going to give it a shot for LD#24 and see how much I can get done, if I get something playable I’ll post it.

It’s entirely possible that I wont get anything working and you’ll never hear from em again, but I hope not.

 

Things I plan on using are

• Java
• netbeans
• paint
• some free sounds
• lots of caffiene

I have no idea what I’m doing

   Welcome!

   As for using free sounds, we’re only allowed to use sampled instruments for writing music with. Any sounds effects we want to use we have to create during the contest. I recommend bfxr, which many of us have used in past contests:

     I had seen that, and will be using it. assuming I get as far as adding sound that it.
