    Where is the Source?

Is it me, or a LOT of people are not linking to the source code in their games? At least half of the games I rated today did not include source. :-( That is not cool.

yeah – I noticed that too

    2. Raptor85 says:

agreed, there should be a way to tag entries that don’t post source or use premade graphics/sound/etc so that they can either fix it or be moved to the jam instead.

    3. xBlinkedx says:

It should be made so that they can’t submit their game without a source link included.

    4. PabloAM says:

My games is HTML5 so you can access to the source by the same browser.
In Chrome for example push “F12″ :)

    5. StarLight says:

If it’s game submited to compo, then give them link to this http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/rules/
      >>6. Source code must be included.
      And i don’t think there’s way to report them…

    6. Orni says:

I think that the top scoring entries are being checked though and potentially disqualified

    7. BenW says:

A lot of entries, mine included, just include it in the zip or rar instead of linking it separately. Although I would be happy to add an additional link if people think it’s useful.

    8. It’s such a shame to see so many entries without source OR using tools/content not freely available to everyone.
