    Hello everyone! :D

This will be my third LD and I’m stoked! I’ve never submitted but I’ve always tried my best. Now, I wanna do ten times better.

I wanna wish everyone the best of luck and I hope we make it over the 1000 game list! :D

Be well, do good work, and keep in touch.

Hi, this is going to be my first. Got any advice? I will be using java, and also a guide as to how to make applets even work would be nice :)

One great piece of advice is to relax during the compo/jam. During my first I stressed out and ended up just not submitting at all. As for a guide to making applets, I don’t really have one xD Sorry I couldn’t help you there. There is a lot of good java game programming out there though. That’s where I would start.

EDIT: I also have another piece of advice. Make sure everything you will be/maybe using works properly! That’s another big one. You should also check out Sol’s guide to the LudumDare Compo here :)

Sol’s guide is really good advice not just for LD but for life. ;)

Really, it’s good to take breaks.
It’s good to stop thinking actively about the problem and let it stew in the background.
          It’s good to drink water.
