First Ludum Dare

I’m going to give this a shot.

Tools:

Gimp / Inkscape
SFXR / Audacity
Flex SDK, nano, make – that’s right CLI flash development unless I change my mind and use C++ and SDL.

Here’s hoping I manage to complete something!

Edit: My simple flash boilerplate if anyone is interested.  It’s basically a preloader, simple menu, and resource loader. – ffw.tar.gz

It includes greensock tweenlite, everything else is MIT/BSD, whatever.

I used to use a Flash setup like that – trust me though, if you’re able to run FlashDevelop (i.e. if you’re running windows), try it – your productivity will go through the roof.

I really wish FlashDevelop was cross-platform. I’ve tried getting it going on several occasions and it just wasn’t ever stable enough to use outside of Windows.
Still, I’m comfortable with the CLI environment and I’ve even managed to crank out something playable in a LD timeframe before.
