My LD21 game, McPixel iu still in development, scheduled to release quite soon! As a teaser, I created a new website, and released level creation tool! There is a definitive guide on how the levels work and how to create your own levels! Let me know what do you think!

Wow impressive work, you really put effort to this.

      My first impressions:

      – You’ve clearly put a lot of work into this, and I hope it does well for you :)

      – I couldn’t get the game to play. Perhaps there are no levels yet? I just got a screen of spinning squares that said “DONE! lalalalla”

      – It isn’t obvious from the front page that there is a level designer. Some people may dismiss the game without realizing there is a level designer.

      – The platform icons on the front page (iphone etc) feel like they clash with the paletted graphics. Consider drawing your own icons using the same palette.

      – The frame that holds the swf only just fits on 768px height. So with more than one line of shortcuts in my browser, the “Play in own window” link is partially pushed off screen. consider having a button next to the X (close), similar to the min/max/close buttons on windows forms.

      – The level designer doesn’t seem very intuitive at first glance. It seems relatively hardcore editing for casual players. A graphical editor with some predrawn prites+scenery which can be dragged/dropped into place would make it more accessible.
