for the second time!

Last time I used Slick, but ran into some problems and I decided to use plain old Java2D this time. I’m curious how that will go and if I’ll run into performance problems. Over the last week I have started work on a tiny little framework so I can swap the renderer out easily should I run into serious problems. Since I want to take part in the competition, here’s the download: Clicky here
(I really, really advise you not to use it, it’s not even finished yet.)

So my tools will be:
Graphics: Java 2D (AWT)
Sound effects: sfxr
Music: Either nothing or FL Studio
Sprites: Photoshop/Paint.NET

Last time my goal was to finish my game and not make the worst game. I succeeded and for this time I decided that I want to get in the top 66%. Since I learned a LOT in the last few months I feel this is a realistic goal.

Good luck everyone and have fun! :D
