You’ll need to give a few more details, I suspect, before anyone will bite. What sort of games do you want to make? Do you want a collaborator to help with art or programming? Are you just starting and after someone to help you get up to speed, or a seasoned pro with an idea that’s too ambitious to do on your own?

I’m starting up waiting for someone to get me up to speed.

The truth is that most programmers don’t have enough time to devote to their own projects, so I think it’s unlikely you’ll find someone to give up time to play the role of teacher. Those sort of people do exist, but there are very few of them.

Even asking for programming help – nobody wants to feel like they’re doing most of your work for you. A joint project should mean about 50% work each, not 80/20… and for that, you need to be looking for someone of similar skill to yourself. :)
