Did you know that today(13 September) is a programmers’ day?
It’s the 256(=2^8) day of the year!!
So if you are a programmer then:
Happy Programmers’ Day 2011!!!

But, if we count january 1st as day 0, then it is 255 which barely fits in a single byte.
LUA vs Python, the eternal “counts from 0″, “counts from 1″ flamewar, Are we really gonna go there mate?
I don’t think it’s a war. 0 won this one long ago.
Yes I’m completely aware of that, problem is that some people do really really like to beat dead horses.
It’s like metric vs imperial. Subjects of the Queen and some other weirdos STILL use imperial. (Oh yes, I did go there)
Well here, if we start counting from zero we can fit it in 1 byte without overflow.
Although I suppose you could redefine a byte to start at 1 and fix that problem.
Didn’t mean to flame.
WOOT! You too, Vlad!
day[255] = Programmer’s Day… I love it! ^>^
I’m serious about that!! XD
It’s an official holiday in Russia and probably soon will be an official holiday in many other countries!!
