Adding to what you wrote about Playing to our strengths:

I think that in a short challenge, a team doesn&#039;t necessarily have time to have big discussions about things, so you all need to be decisive. 

One person working alone can easily coordinate themselves, but may lack man-hours or lack a full range of skills. My time usually breaks down like this:
- 20% to design, planning, calculations, etc
- 40% art
- 25% programming
- 15% finishing off + sounds +  testing

In contrast, a team has plenty of man-hours at their disposal as well as a more complete skill set, but a team is harder to coordinate, because everybody understands and visualizes the project slightly differently. Without good communication it&#039;s possible to end up with everyone&#039;s contributions not fitting together quite as nicely as hoped, and possibly having to redo things.]]></description>
