[ Warmup Weekend | Real World Gatherings | Tools | Ludum Deals (yep, we got it) ]
I’m not sure if I’ll be able to devote as much time as I’d like to this, since I just found out about it yesterday.
The Theme will be what makes or breaks my chances at producing anything over the weekend.
I’ll be using the App Game Kit released just 5 days ago by The Game Creators.

I’d never heard of AGK until I read your post. Please let us know what you think of it and how you like it. There’s no demo, so I don’t plan on dropping 80 bucks without even trying it.
I was a beta tester for the AGK so I have a few months of experience with it.
It’s 2D for now, but very cross platform. Very easy to use, and includes what you need to develop in both AGK BASIC code, and C++ depending on your skill level.
It’s designed mainly for mobile device development, but can also publish to Windows, Mac, and MeeGo.
My submission will include both Windows and (if all goes well) Mac versions.
As far as I know, I made the very first functional game with it during the beta. You can download that and check it out at http://www.kistech.com. It’s called Asteroid Blast.
Heya KIStech, it’s me OMEN from the TGC Forums! I’ll definitely be following your progress, be nice to see what the AGK can do
Hey OMEN, I don’t know exactly how this is going to pan out, but I’m willing to give it a shot. I should probably practice porting an app over to Mac so I have that process down before this gets started.
I just wish I knew what the theme was..
