While testing out my sourcecode for a overview  ”Up, Down, Right, Left” game, It was insanely buggy, I’d fix it, but I’m just too lazy. Instead I’ll just go for a simple platformer, shooting, and cool enemies. Too bad I’ll miss the first 2 hours of the Compo though, football practice starts at the exact time #21 does, so everyone will have a 2 hour head start pretty much.

Oh and one question for… anyone to answer really, what would be more efficient to use for character sprites, Graphics Gale? Or Paint.net? What I really like about GG is that it shows the sprite animation while you add new frames.

I wouldn’t worry too much about 2 hours. I missed the first 12 hours of LD19 because I was first sleeping, then having a pleasant lie-in.

Graphics Gale is better if you know how to use it; Paint.NET is fine if you don’t know how to use something more specialised (I don’t recommend trying to learn how to use a program during the weekend; you could learn one in this day before the contest starts, though).
