Oh God What Am I Doing?

My first dare and I feel sick and enthralled at the same time.

Any particular reason you’re using AS2 and not AS3? Just kind of curious about that.
It’s what I use day to day in my work — maintaining/content creating a 3+ year old flash RPG. It also works better for me for rapid prototyping. I am transitioning to AS3, but while I’m still more comfortable with AS2 it makes sense to me to use it as my prototyping base.
Ah, that makes sense.
Personally, I actually like using LD as a “crash course” in a new tool or language. (Example: My first undertaking in AS3 was my entry in LD18, and my first non-classroom C++ project was my LD16 entry)
To each his own, though.
