I made it! It’s a bit difficult at times, but that’s what makes games fun, right?
You can play it by clicking here.
I’m looking forward to playing everything everyone has done, the screenshots I’ve seen sure look tasty! But first, sleep.
This game is so absurdly hard that I’m not sure if I should whether to smash my keyboard into pieces or tear out all my hair..
I’ll just carefully close down the application and take a few deep breaths..
Most of the frustration comes from the awkward jumping mechanics..
You surely know how to make a game that brings out a lot of emotions
I am really looking forward to having a go at making my own levels though, this could become a really classical puzzle-platformer if unleashed on the notch-worshiping minecraft community, the ease of making levels and being able to change the graphics would certainly keep people interested
Oops, the version you played had the start position be near the end of the game. :O
Nah, it starts from the beginning, it’s the good old 2nd glass room that I still can’t get past..
Amazing.
I posted this on Twitter, but can you remember what tutorial you first used to get into coding?
I’d like to know.
I started out when I was eight years old by entering program listings from a computer magazine by hand. But the top hit when you google “java tutorial” is pretty good.
Woo! Here’s my score : http://yfrog.com/9fmetagunp
Great game!
I wasn’t able to finish the game, but I must say it was well done. Great use of the theme.
This was a great game, I finished it barely… the final boss is epic. I like the concept and you nailed the theme. I am definitely rooting for you!
