thegameAfter 3.14 days of work (2 learning how to use the game maker and 1.14 days of work on the game itself) it’s finally almost over! Just some few sprites and dialogue, and a little testing and it’ll be ready.

I can hardly believe it. It was my first game ever! My first real program other than a hello world. I’ll save the “thanks to everyone” for tomorrow, after I actually finish it, but it’s really been very fun!

well done for learning the basics of GM8 in 2 days. I spent ages on it. Are you using drag-and-drop or codes?

  2. KavuDX says:

I actually wanted to use the codes, but I haven’t figured out how to move out from the drag and drop and enter the code UI…
Sometimes the if’s and elses are pretty confusing on the drag-and-drop menus, maybe on the GML it would be a lot easier…

If you’re going to continue using GM, learn GML. Trust me, it’s a lot easier. I probably can’t even use Drag and Drop anymore. :P
