Significant improvements.
I’ve been working on my game, and it’s come a long way. It now looks better, the character moves faster, and there are 5 levels that were not in the competition version. I think the new levels present some interesting puzzles.

I still need to work on making the wall collision less sticky. Also, I’d like to animate my character and explosion sprites.
Love the new textures.
I totally got stuck though on one of the new levels! It was the map with like 30 gas cans and 30 bombs… with only 1 free to pick up. I musta played over 30 minutes on that level at least but could not crack the trick to it… just a difficulty heads up.
Really enjoy the game though and looking forward to your further improvements!
Yeah, some of the new levels are pretty tricky.
1st hint on that level: Left path doesn’t work, right path doesn’t work, which way to go?
Maybe I should build a hints system into the game.
I’m glad you like the textures. It’s my first time drawing a texture tile set.
Alright I played thru this morning to get to that level and it took me a few tries but i got it. You don’t wanna know the shenanigans I was using the other day to surgically carve dirt away from the one bomb near the middle bottom. I could then get the second bomb but it didn’t do any good yet I was convinced that was the secret….
Oh well, I see the actually solution was much easier than I thought. Well, on to the next level– thanks for the hint!
Yah! I won!
Man.. I love bomb puzzlers.. what a great genre…
hey, I saw this newer version when you linked to it in chat earlier; it’s a pretty cool improvement. Has it been changed much since I last saw it, or were most of the changes done at that point?
I think the only change since I linked to it in IRC is two new levels towards the end.
Oh yeah, that looks nice now
(Signifigant improvments)
Now you just have to work on your spelling
Wow. Spelling disaster. Fixed, thanks.
It seems that the wordpress admin interface somehow prevents firefox from displaying the red underlines on misspelled words. Goes to show how much I’ve come to depend on automatic spell check.
