		<description>It&#039;s just a bit obscure to build a binary in Visual Studio that doesn&#039;t require the redistributable, but not hard - I do this a lot so here&#039;s how:
Go to the Project Properties, Configuration Properties -&gt; C/C++ -&gt; Code Generation
Then change your &quot;Runtime Library&quot; option from &quot;... DLL&quot; to the same entry without DLL

Then, your exe grows by a bit, and you no longer need the redistributable package.</description>
