Are You Having Problems With the Linux Version?

Posted by

I saw someone having trouble getting the GNU/Linux version to compile. Is anyone else having this issue? Please post any error messages here.

If you have GNU/Linux, could you try it out and see if you have trouble with it? Mineral Miner for GNU/Linux: 1.2MB

Thanks for your help!

Well, good then. Jonny D, I don’t know what the errors were. I was hoping that the person could tell me, and if anyone else was having problems, they could tell me as well. B-)

Hey, I think I mentioned this on IRC but you weren’t around. I am running Ubuntu 8.04, have all the SDL libraries installed, and I’m not on ubuntu at the moment, but it had to do with not being able to find one of the .so2 related to one of the sound apis. I’m new to development on linux so it is completely possible it is just on my end.

I will see what else I can find out in a bit.
