Mac screencapture for dual-screen setups?

I am looking forward to doing Ludumdare this weekend, and I’m intending to do a timelapse of my progress again. Is there any software or scripts that I can use on the Mac to capture two screens simultaneously, ideally stitched together as one long image?

   I just found out how to do it with the tool screencapture. You just feed it more filenames. I wrote up a little bash script that I plan on using myself, and put a gist here:
