unfortunately (or, actually, fortunately!) it looks like it&#039;s a false positive, according to this forum post:  http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=39274.0

just to be sure, i scanned it with 38 virus scanners from virustotal.  only avast and GData (which uses Avast) picked it up, the other 36 were silent.  just for fun, I installed Avast, and it seems like it thinks my compiler itself is an infection waiting to happen... either avast is better than everything else by far, or it&#039;s making a false positive on my compiler and anything compiled with it.. :)
