Yes, I am french, and for me, 8 PM PST is 4AM. With one hour sooner, I will must get up to 3AM, too early for me ! 4AM is ok, but 5AM or 6AM (one or two hour later) is better for me.

I would would also say 2hrs later, as I live in uk, means I can get up early and work on it. I imagine it would b similar 4 most europeans

4 hours earlier would be ideal for me, I usually stayed up until 5am when the theme was announced and then was tired all weekend as a consequence..

It’s basically same to me, as it currently starts while I’m sleeping and ends after I’ve hit the bed on sunday.

Aye. From Belgium making it 4 hours earlier means it starts at 1 am which means you can sleep over the theme which is nice. 1 to 3 hours earlier would not be too good, but in the end it doesn’t really matter too much since what you lose on one end you make up at the other.

I’m from Europe and I think it helps because I usually stay up until ~2am on the weekends, minimum. With an early announcement I can do some sketching and sleep over the idea before starting to hack it out. I’ve never gotten anything done before Saturday noon anyway

I’m from Europe and I vote to leave it as it is!!! For me it starts and ends at about 3 or 4am, so I can start early on Saturday morning and have a few extra hours on Sunday after midnight before the deadline.

I’d actually prefer to move it later, since I’m always still sleeping for the first 4 or 5 hours and I always run out of time at the end.

How are these better for europeans ? Right now i start around 4-5 am, its a bit of a pain, but i can hack it. But you can place it sonner, ill just work longer, i guess.

Moving it sooner would make it harder for me as well, since it would cut back time from the end, and still start at middle of night. Moving the start to be later would help more..

Anyway, if the time stays dec 5-7, I won’t be able to attend though, just that one weekend is already reserved for me…
