It's been my experience that novice Rock/Paper/Scissors players disproportionately choose scissors as their opening move. When I discovered this, I consistently beat my brother for about six months before he noticed the pattern. It's really kind of spooky. The two people I've tried this on that haven't chosen scissors have chosen rock. No one's picked paper yet. You might try working this tidbit into one of the AIs.
